Sunday
School at First Baptist Church has undergone some great
changes in the past two years. Our classes are open
to children from ages 2 to 12 years old. Children work
through a rotation of lessons all related to a Bible
story. The workshops include story telling (drama, skits,
puppets), cooking and science, art, music and games.
Each Sunday the different age groups of children review
the Bible story and then enjoy an exciting activity
in one of these workshop areas. Over a span of four
or five Sundays each group works through all of the
workshops and learns the story and memory verse very
well. There is also opportunity for the older children
so have small group discussions so they can relate what
they have learned from the Bible to their daily life
at school and home.
